The fall season is a period bustling with activity and excitement at Cirque Éloize. This year, we’re celebrating our 15th anniversary by presenting our final show in a prestigious Montreal theatre venue. The debut of Nebbia, written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca and co-produced with Teatro Sunil, at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, is for us the symbol of a new beginning, the sign of a true decompartmentalization in artistic expression. While Nebbia seduces spectators at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, our production of Rain is leaving our studios for an extended European tour that will bring it to France, Holland and Greece right until Christmas.
Nebbia, a creation of Cirque Éloize in co-production with Teatro Sunil,
will be in Montreal and in 12 cities in Quebec during the whole autumn.
Fall will also be a busy time for our special events department, which is preparing its teams for the development of some 30 shows, both in our studios and in other countries.
Rain is heading to Europe where the troupe will travel the whole year.
You can find all this information on our brand new Web site. The site is a result of the re-evaluation of our image to coincide with our 15th anniversary. Redefining our image, determining our mission, targeting our audience and developing successful marketing tools were all essential. Our new Web site is a key element at the heart of our strategy to develop our brand. We thank the team at Uranium Interactive that helped to properly guide us and propose tools suited to our needs. We’re very proud of our new site.
Although our work and our projects are always tied to organicity, humanity, sensitivity and poetry, it’s our duty to continue developing new technologies and to use their infinite communication possibilities on a large scale. It’s a stimulating challenge and a new way of expressing our creativity by communicating our image and poetry through the Web on our computer screens, cell phones, BlackBerries and Iphones. The crucial part of our challenge is to transmit our poetry and touch people at the core of their humanity through these machines. Until machines actually begin to have feelings...
